One&Only Desaru Coast

One&Only Desaru Coast is a secluded beachfront resort hidden within rainforest that fringes white sands and the lapping South China Sea. Designed by the award-winning Kerry Hill Architects, the property is comprised of 42 suites, two grand suites and one four-bedroom villa, all of which come with private plunge pools. There are also private homes available. Befitting the serene location, hotel amenities are focused primarily around wellness: the Chenot Spa (offering Western and holistic medicine practices as well as pampering treatments), the Pedi and Mani Studio by Bastien Gonzalez, a comprehensive fitness center with a specialist Pilates studio and a multi-court, a sea-facing yoga pavilion and a 50-meter infinity pool. Other hotel facilities include the KidsOnly club for youngsters and One Tribe space for teenagers, plus events spaces and conference rooms. In addition, One&Only guests have access to The Els Club Desaru Coast Golf Course nearby. Accommodations are divided into Rainforest and Ocean Suites (including two two- bedroom Grand Suites), plus the four-bedroom Villa One, set apart from the main resort area. Each suite includes spacious indoor and outdoor areas, sumptuous b athrooms and private plunge pools.

Rainforest Suites

The Rainforest Suites are 1,130 square feet in size and can be configured with a king bed or two queen beds. Tucked away in the jungle, these accommodations feature beautiful batik details, sunlit bathrooms with both a shower and standalone tub, as well as a private plunge pool. If you're looking for a little more, there's a two-bedroom Rainforest Grand Pool Suite available that measures 4,360 square feet.

Ocean Suites

Like the Rainforest Suites, the Ocean Suites are also 1,130 square feet in size, configured with a king-size bed. These beachfront accommodations provide direct access to sand and waves, as well as a private plunge pool. There is also a 3,390-square-foot Ocean Two-Bedroom Grand Suite available.

Villa One

The four-bedroom Villa One is set over two levels, covering 16,146 square feet and accommodating up to eight adults. Separate to the main resort, this accommodation option offers privacy and seclusion, as well as a 27-meter private pool. Other spaces within the villa include a home study, private spa room, gardens and both indoor and outdoor living/dining areas.

One&Only Desaru Coast has a wealth of leisure facilities for guests of all age s, both on- and offsite. This includes UNESCO-listed Silat Melayu (Malay martia l arts), Bonfire Legends, Call of the Gibbons and tree-climbing, as well as an array of water sports.

Chenot Spa

The Chenot Spa is a partnership between One&Only and leading science-based health and beauty experts, Chenot. Chenot's concept is to care for the "whole self" by understanding an individual's needs in relation to key pillars of physical health and fitness, emotional wellbeing, nutrition and aesthetics - then Chenot will tailor integrated holistic treatments and programmes to you. The spa area is comprised of 10 treatment rooms, a cooling pool, steam room and relaxation pavilion, among other health and wellness-focused spaces.

Club One

Club One is a space for all things active, featuring tennis and padel courts.

Fitness Center

Work out in a fitness center with both indoor and outdoor spaces, or opt for a one-on-one training session or fitness class.

Kids Clubs

Younger guests aged three to 11 years old can enjoy fun activities at KidsOnly, such as joining a marine biologist from The EcoLab on a nature walk. Meanwhile at One Tribe, 12- to 17-year-olds can hang out in their own space and partake in activities and competitions.
