Desaru Coast
Desaru, which means ‘village of soft palms,’ sits on the east coast in the state of Johor, part of the Malay Peninsula. This area is a curated recreational destination spanning over 3,900 acres along the pristine 17-km beachfront that faces eastwards over clear ocean waters. Set amid a rich bio-diverse location, Desaru Coast offers a variety of experiences as well as luxury resorts, upscale shopping, and dining. Just a quick hop from Singapore (2.5 hour drive or 30-minute ferry) or a one-hour drive from the international airport in Johor, Desaru Coast is a serene beach getaway easily within reach yet feels thousands of miles from any city.
