Lying at the heart of an untrammeled wilderness, where leopards roam wild and free, is SUJÁN’s JAWAI Leopard Camp. Designed by the owners, Anjali and Jaisal Singh, JAWAI Leopard Camp represents a style that combines subtle opulence with abundant adventure; a vigorous rendition of camping at its finest. They strongly believe in conservation but without compromising comfort. JAWAI Leopard Camp has 10 luxurious tents, each with plenty of space and privacy that rest encapsulated in a landscape surrounded by craggy granite formations of caves, kopjes, Anogeissus scrub and winding sand river–beds. Not only is there wildlife viewing but there is bird watching, hiking, private guided tours and even cooking classes. JAWAI Leopard Camp is set in the heart of rural Rajasthan, approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes from Udaipur and just over 3 hours from Jodhpur.
Location: The camp is remote enough to experience undisturbed wilderness and encounter tribespeople, yet close enough a drive to include in a trip from Jodhpur and Udaipur.
Leopards: Jawai is one of the best places to spot leopards in the whole country and guests will embark on daily early morning and afternoon safaris on the lookout for these big cats in their natural surroundings.
All-inclusive: Guests needn’t worry about cash as drinks, food and safari trips are already paid for.
Guests can enjoy a kind of rustic luxury in their designer tents at the SUJAN JAWAI camp in rural Rajasthan.
The eight spacious luxury tents are made out of white canvas, stainless steel and leather accoutrements, with mosquito nets, air conditioning and heating units. Interiors are furnished with kingsize double beds, black and white photos of leopards, metal trunks housing safety and cool boxes, and red throws and pillows. Ensuite shower rooms per tent feature vanity units, high rain showers, twin basins and mirrors, and bathrobes and slippers. Each tent includes a private deck that looks upon unobstructed views of the dramatic wilderness around.
Groups, families, and guests seeking more space and privacy will want to opt for the Royal Tented Suite, consisting of two tents connected by a canopy. This tent also comes with its own private heated swimming pool, a private butler, and a private jeep for wilderness game drives.
From leopard safaris to exploring historical sites, the SUJAN JAWAI Camp has a host of activities for guests to gain a rich cultural insight into the region. Also provided is a stunning pool with a great view, as well as a spa tent and dining tent.
Besides the spotlight leopard tracking safaris, guests can choose amongst a variety of active and sybaritic experiences: birdwatching, excursions to local historical temples, cooking lesson, hiking, and meeting the local Rabari tribe community and gaining insight into their pastoral lifestyle.
Located central, the drop-edge pool is the perfect place for guests to cool off and lounge in-between leopard safaris.
A discreet distance away from the central area, the SUJAN Spa tent pampers guests with hot-oil massages and herbal rubs using indigenous herbs and oils.
The all-inclusive meals at JAWAI camp are made from organic home-grown produce that can be enjoyed communally in the dining tent or in a private setting of choice.
Exchange stories with other guests about the day's leopard sightings over excellent coffee, teas, fresh fruits, pastries and cooked breakfast, and buffet-style lunches offering fish or chicken curries or sandwiches. Delicious full course dinners are formally held in the dining tent, and weather-permitting, around a boma fire in a magical candlelit corner of the reserve every other night.
Private meals can be had in the privacy of one's own tent or overlooking the wilderness. Guests can enjoy breakfast in the bush and romantic dinners under the stars.

Here is a small selection of the kind words our clients have said about us recently.
The trip was all I expected and more. Plans were flawless--as I would expect from Remote Lands.
Our private jet was a very important part of our trip. Most of the legs were less than 30 minutes, compared to six to 10 hours if we traveled by road. Overall, we had a fantastic trip to a new country for us. Remote Lands never fails!
All of our guides were personable, knowledgeable, and well spoken.
