THE ART OF TRAVEL: ASIA'S LEADING ART FAIRS

Asia's leading contemporary art fairs have become some of the most anticipated events on the global creative calendar. From Hong Kong and Seoul to Tokyo, Taipei, Shanghai, and Singapore, these gatherings offer access to world-class galleries while providing a compelling reason to explore some of the region's most dynamic cities. This creative story extends well beyond contemporary art, however. FRIEZE SEOUL

SEPTEMBER 2–5, 2026

Since launching in 2022, Frieze Seoul has rapidly established itself as one of Asia's most important art events. The fair reflects South Korea's growing influence across culture, design, fashion, and entertainment, attracting leading galleries and collectors from around the world. SEPTEMBER 11–13, 2026

Yet the fair is only one facet of a city where creativity permeates everything from architecture and fashion to food and craftsmanship. One of Asia's longest-running art fairs, Art Taipei provides insight into Taiwan's flourishing contemporary art landscape while highlighting artists from across the region.
