Remote Lands is delighted to introduce “Cities to Tropics: Kyoto to Bali,” the latest addition to its prestigious Aman Jet Expedition portfolio.
This meticulously curated 12-night journey takes discerning travelers from the cultural centers of East Asia to the idyllic islands of Southeast Asia.
Departing on December 7 and concluding on December 19, 2025, the adventure accommodates up to 18 guests aboard the custom-outfitted Airbus ACJ 319, offering sumptuous luxury and personalized experiences.

Guests will stay at four of Aman’s most exquisite retreats: Aman Kyoto, Amanyangyun in Shanghai, Amanpulo in the Philippines, and Amandari in Ubud, Bali.
The itinerary blends cultural immersion and relaxation, with fully private touring and transfers at each destination.
In Kyoto, participants will delve into Japanese traditions through experiences such as sake brewing and tasting, a tea ceremony, and an intimate evening with a geisha. Visits to landmarks like the Fushimi Inari Shrine and Arashiyama Bamboo Forest highlight the timeless beauty of this historic city.
In Shanghai, guests will witness the dynamic blend of ancient traditions and modern innovation, with lessons in Chinese calligraphy, painting, and the art of incense, complemented by a guided architectural tour of The Bund and an evening at a captivating acrobatics show.

From there, the journey transitions to the serene private island of Amanpulo in the Philippines, where travelers can unwind with spa treatments, stargazing, and nature walks, or enjoy optional activities such as snorkeling and exploring the island by golf cart.
The expedition culminates in Bali, Indonesia’s cultural heart. Guests will take a helicopter excursion over Batur Mountain, experience traditional Balinese healing practices, and hike through verdant rice terraces. A farewell cocktail event at Amandari marks the conclusion of this extraordinary journey, leaving travelers with unforgettable memories.
The custom-outfitted Airbus ACJ 319 enhances the experience, providing spacious lounges, private in-flight dining prepared by an onboard chef, and smooth transitions between destinations. This unique approach allows guests to focus entirely on the journey’s curated experiences.
