A Mindful and Cultural Journey
Nepal - Bhutan - India - Sri Lanka
September 29 - October 13, 2023
See ItineraryPapua New Guinea in Oceania has hot tropical weather, with April through November the driest months, and June to September the best time to visit. However, it should be noted that ‘dry season’ here just means it is not as wet as the monsoons of December to March, not that it will not rain. June to September sees rain of about 100mm, though it is not constant, so not a problem for avoiding showers. Temperatures usually range between 25 and 30 °C (77-86 °F), though they can vary depending on topography, as the nation has several microclimates. The coastal areas and lowlands are usually hot and humid, the highlands cooler and less humid. Largely untouched, the country is an ideal destination for those that really want to get off the beaten track, offering virgin rainforests and unexplored mountains and the chance to visit indigenous tribes that have had virtually no contact with the modern world.

There’s no doubt that PNG is one of the most exotic destinations in Asia, but things get even more exciting under the waves; diving in Papua New Guinea is a WWII adventure in one of Asia’s lesser traveled destinations.

From the moment I happened upon the REMOTE LANDS website over a year ago, browsed the options, I knew that this would be well worth it. The entire staff is nothing less than professional with service that made us feel like royals.
People keep asking us which country we enjoyed the most, it's very hard to say, there were special experiences everywhere.
You are invited to Remote Lands’ signature Aman Jet Expeditions, in partnership with our friends at Aman. These are small group journeys designed for people who usually travel independently.
