Please note this is a sample itinerary ideally performed by private aircraft (rate not included). Upon request, private aircraft options can be provided based on availability and requirements.

Explore rare cultures and go where few travelers have gone when you embark on this unique, exciting journey through Papua New Guinea’s hidden treasures. You go to sites rarely-visited by the outside world, which you’ll reach by the convenient and comfortable travel method of private aircraft charter. This is one of the most diverse - if not also the least-explored - areas in the Asia-Pacific region. With activities in store like camping, market shopping and chatting with locals, there’s not a dull minute on this 10-day trip. Get ready for an adventurous journey that will take you trekking and walking through Papua New Guinea’s stunning nature.

Why travel by private aircraft?

Eliminate unnecessary waiting time and stress when you fly by private jet. Spend less time in airports and more time in the incredible sites you are traveling to see. Not only is it a far more convenient and comfortable mode of travel, but private charter allows you to reach parts of Papua New Guinea otherwise inaccessible by commercial airlines. Uncover some of the most stunning, remote destinations when you charter your own private aircraft.

This itinerary is an example. It’s designed to inspire you and provide you with thoughtfully curated ideas. You can choose to do this exact itinerary or completely personalize it. All trips are 100% bespoke.

Highlights

  • Yam People: Travelers trek into the dense rainforest to find the Abelam Tribe. Yams are important to this Sepik region tribe — very important. The size of the yams here, which can grow to more than two meters long, can determine a village’s status within the local hierarchy.
  • Birdwatching: The endemic birds of Papua New Guinea helped Alfred Russel Wallace found the theory of evolution alongside Charles Darwin. Travelers will find rare — and strange — specimens in the Sepik and Yuat Valley regions.
  • Private Aircraft: Skip the long drives normally associated with Papua New Guinea and jet around the landscapes, tribes, and wildlife of the most mysterious nation in Asia.
