The COMO Shambala Bali is geared towards wellness, and utilises the surrounding environment as its fitness center. Guests can join a wide range of outdoor adventures of various intensities, catering for all fitness levels. Group activities such as yoga are also offered. There is also a spa onsite for Ayurvedic therapies and restorative skincare.


For fitness, guests can make use of a climbing wall, pilates studio, gym with all modern equipment and free weights, outdoor jungle gym, and two tennis courts. There's also a yoga studio and outdoor yoga pavilion and a 25-meter long chemical-free spring water pool.


The spa offers a wide range of wellness treatments, including massage, skin care, Ayurvedic therapies, hydrotherapy, acupuncture, and use of the Vitality Pool. The pool draws water from The Source, a local natural mineral-rich spring considered by locals to have healing properties. There's also a steam room and sauna.


Como Shambhala names itself as a Retreat for Change and promotes healthy living which is taught and aided by in-house yoga teachers, Ayurvedic doctors and nutritionists. Guests are able to practice yoga with a personal teacher or in a class, there are yoga sessions available for beginner to advanced levels.


COMO Shambala Bali offers a wide range of fresh, healthful foods, including Indonesian cuisine, raw food, Ayurvedic menus, salads and juices. Dining options are in line with the resort's commitment to promoting balance and providing food full of nutrients and energy. Guests can choose from Glow or Kudus House or dine in private in the room or in selected locations around the property.


This all-day open-air restaurant serves healthy COMO Shambala Cuisine by Australian chef Heidi Flanagan straight from their open plan kitchen, with an emphasis on fresh salads, juices and local seafood. Sunday brunch includes a traditional Indonesian dance by local village girls.

Kudus House

Authentic Indonesian cuisine is served in a 150-year old Javanese house, featuring intricately-carved walls and local objets d'art. Both breakfast and dinner are served here, offering a range of local and European dishes.

Picnic Lunch

Guests can take lunch in the tranquil environs of Kedara – the water garden. A few hundred meters from the main building, diners can bring a swimsuit to enjoy the natural springs here after their meal.
