TESTIMONIALS

It was individual and authentic. And I was treated like a family friend, not a paying guest.

Taj Banjaar Tola

Why We Love This Hotel :

Location: Nestled into the grounds of Kanha National Park, one of the best maintained parks in all of India, and on the edge of the Banjaar River, this hotel truly immerses its guests into the heart of India’s jungle.

History: Kanha became a national park in 1955, and since then has also taken on the exotic title of a tiger reserve, while it continues to be inhabited by members of the park’s original indigenous tribes.

Service: The Taj brand is famous for blending the warmth of local hospitality with its signature anything-you-like service.

The Taj Banjaar Tola’s number one concern is guest comfort, convenience and privacy, and their facilities are reflective of this fact, from the in-room massages to relaxing guest lounges.

In-room Massages

Guests can enjoy centuries-old Ayurvedic massage techniques from the comfort of their rooms, with treatments that make use of all-natural ingredients.

Pool

The hotel's pool is the ideal place to while away an afternoon, either taking a leisurely dip, or enjoying an exotic cocktail from one of the many sun loungers that line the poolside.

Dining at the Taj Banjaar Tola is an exciting and unique experience, where no meal is ever the same. Guests may dine at the resort’s lounge or dining room, or enjoy a private picnic by the river, or even an intimate in-room meal.

Breakfast

For breakfast, guests can choose from either take-away hot boxes to be eaten during the morning game drive, or they may have their breakfast served on their luxury tent's verandah should they choose to skip the morning safari.

Dinner

Dinner may take many forms. Adventurous guests may choose to help cook their own meal, cooking in the Angithi style. Another option is that guests may take their dinner poolside, enjoying wok-cooked specialties. A riverside dinner is also possible, taking place on specially-made decks. Jungle Banquets are thrilling, exotic meals that take place amongst nature, where guests are served with bullock carts full of traditional Indian specialties. Finally, couple seeking a romantic adventure may try an intimate Bush dinner.

Lunch

Lunch takes place on the resort's picturesque lounge deck, or diners may choose to enjoy a more intimate setting on a private deck that overlooks the babbling river, topped off with butler service.
