Taj Baghvan Lodge
A luxurious safari lodge, Baghvan is located at the edge of Pench National Park, situated next to a stream and surrounded by forest. The lodge is approximately 90 minutes' drive from Nagpur Airport. The lodge consists of 12 contemporary-style bungalows with large courtyards, private shaded sit-outs, an outdoor shower and a romantic rooftop sleep-out on a private machan, or jungle platform. The machan is protected with a mosquito net, refreshed with an overhead fan and comes with a hookah. In the summer months, a traditional Khus screen is sprinkled with water, which cools the breeze wafting in and scents it with a lovely fragrance. Fine Indian cuisine is served on your private veranda or on the poolside deck. There is also a bar & library, as well as in-room spa treatments.

The intimate Taj Baghvan lodge has just twelve select bungalows. The twelve bungalow suites are housed in two large buildings interconnected by a courtyard.
Bungalows
The bungalows are bright and airy with natural light filtered through wooden latticed bay windows. Rooms have twin beds, which can be made into double beds. The bungalows comprise of a bedroom, en-suite bathroom, separate living room, kitchen area and open-plan dining deck. The high-ceilinged rooms are tastefully decorated with handmade Parsi tiles, giant ebony chests, sumptuous hand-woven fabrics and local artwork.
The lodge boasts a library, safari boutique, large swimming pool and deck and a spa. The spa is worth a visit with a menu featuring millennia-old Indian healing and massage techniques.
Pool
The inviting swimming pool is framed with lush greenery. Guests may enjoy watching tiny birds and butterflies flit in and out of the pool area highlighting the area's abundant natural environment. Lunch, breakfast, cocktails and snacks can be savored here from the poolside bar.
Baghvan Cuisine
The Baghvan promises a magical culinary journey through Indian cuisine. Guests may dine in various picturesque locations such as breakfast on the bungalow's private verandah, dinner on the deck overlooking the nullah dry riverbed a popular spot for the Pench tiger, and picnic lunches on Khoka Lake or on the swimming pool's shady deck.
