Deluxe Lagoon Villa
Positioned over the tranquil blue waters of the lagoon, these standalone villas offer 94 square meters of space, with a private sundeck and sun loungers, a freshwater plunge pool, a daybed and far-reaching views. A ladder leads straight into the water and guests can enjoy ocean views from their bathroom from an oversized tub. The over-water suites feature 195 square meters of space, with direct access to the lagoon and a private stretch of beach. Villas have a living room, separate bedroom, bathroom with water views, large pool and a wide suspended verandah with sun loungers for private sunbathing. Suites also have an outdoor sala for dining. Dive center and water sports
Utilizing gear from the onsite water sports center, guests can enjoy the complimentary use of kayaks, catamarans, windsurf skis and snorkeling gear. At an additional cost there's also parasailing, banana boat rides, big game fishing, and shark and stingray feeding. Taj Exotica is home to the only Eco Aware Awarded PADI dive center in the Maldives, which offers an array of different snorkeling and diving trips, including submarine diving.
Fitness
Located at the end of the island over the water, the fitness center is equipped with modern exercise equipment and machines, offering fitness classes and the use of personal trainers if needed. The center stays open until the last guest leaves. A yoga pavilion and yoga and meditation sessions are also on offer. A freshwater infinity pool is also available for guests.
Spa
The Taj Exotica's Jiva Grande Spa is world-renowned for its great service and range of treatments. Guests are treated to relaxing ocean views as they receive their massage in one of the spa's treatment pavilions. Therapies include massage, Indian Ayurvedic treatments, skin care, hot stones, scrubs and wraps and the Signature Jiva Grande Spa treatments. The spa includes steam baths, sauna, and hydrotherapy pools and showers.
24 Degrees
All-day dining is provided from 7am to 22.45pm. Perfect for casual meals, guests can dine on the beach and select a bottle of wine from the walk-in cellar. Seafood fresh from the Indian Ocean, spices from the orient and European options are all available here.
Deep End
This specialty restaurant is set over the lagoon in a thatched-roof sala, giving guests endless ocean vistas. This romantic location s perfect for intimate candlelit dinners, with contemporary cuisine on offer that utilizes the best in local seafood and important gourmet items.
Equator Bar
This stylish outdoor bar serves world-class cocktails and a long list of Old and New World wines, as well as cigars. Guests can come for sundowners or enjoy after-dinner drinks to relaxed beats.
