CHI, The Spa

Open from 10am to 11pm, the Shangri-La’s CHI Spa offers a wide range of wellness therapies and massage, including indulgent signature packages and therapeutic Thai, Chinese and Indian treatments. 

Health Club

Guests have all-day access to a modern fitness center equipped with cardio machines, free weights and jacuzzi - the first of its kind in Lhasa. There’s also a swimming pool open from 10am to 11pm and a relaxation oxygen lounge for guests still adjusting to the city’s high altitude.

Meeting rooms

For corporate travelers, the Shangri-La offers the use of meeting rooms equipped with audio-visual teleconferencing technology, projectors, translation services and more. 


Presided over by Executive Chef Ida Tang, The Shangri-La offers an international standard of dining across all its food and beverage outlets. Each venue draws inspiration from local flavors while providing travelers from all parts of the world with indulgent, varied cuisine.


This all-day dining venue serves up international cuisine in a relaxing atmosphere. The ambience is warm and welcoming, open from 6am to midnight, when guests can enjoy everything from a family meal to late-night snacks to traditional Tibetan treats.

Lodgers Lounge

This luxurious lobby lounge serves up snacks and drinks from 9am to 11pm. There's an indoor area lit by a prayer flag-inspired chandelier and an outdoor patio where guests can drink in beautiful mountain views.


This indoor/outdoor space allows guests to enjoy evening drinks and tapas plates inspired by the cuisines of Tibet and Yunnan. The authentic regional menu includes lamb dishes, yoghurt and local barley wine. There's also a long list of cocktails, all available until 2am.

Shang Palace

Chinese cuisine is offered here in an elegant environment, with traditional round tables serving Chinese and Tibetan feasts. Open for lunch and dinner, Shang palace offers ten separate rooms for private dining.
