Opened in 2010, the Aureum Inle Resort & Spa is perched on the edge of Inle Lake with villas surrounding its banks. Aureum Inle has 66 villas set amongst lotus ponds on the calm water of Inle lake. The villas boast outdoor terraces perfect for watching local activity on the lake and the sunset over the water. The villas are 1076 square-feet and have large bedrooms, private living rooms and comfortably large bathrooms.

The Villas are set on the calm waters of Inle Lake the private outdoor terraces offer views of spectacular sunsets and commuting leg rowing Innthas. The villas are built with a contemporary Asian style and incorporate natural wood, rich silks and comfortable furnishings. Aureum Inle has indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the lake. There is also a bar and entertainment club. Look out for Burmese specialties on the menu such as tea leaf salad, steamed fish and hot and sour prawn soup. International food is also available.
Restaurant
The restaurant serves authentic Burmese and Shan food in a refined atmosphere with attentive service. In the mornings guests may try a typical Burmese style breakfast comprising of Mohinga fish soup or Shan noodles and hot tea. In the evenings the restaurant is atmospherically lit up creating a romantic air against the lake backdrop.
