In your villa at the One&Only Reethi Rah, it’s easy to feel like you’re in a far corner of the earth. The resort, which first opened in 2005, makes the most of the Maldives’ reputation as a perfect palm-trees-and-beaches tropical escape. Each villa is situated for maximum privacy and comes with an overwater perch or private beach access. There are four restaurants and bars with world-class menus and drink lists, as well as 24-hour in-villa dining. The excellent ESPA offers a wide range of holistic healing and beauty treatments, and includes underwater treatment rooms, couples’ rooms, a relaxation lounge, saunas, steam rooms and a Japanese-style onsen. There is a full service fitness center, every imaginable type of water sport, including big-game fishing and private sailing cruises on a fleet of beautifully maintained wooden Maldivian dhonis, and an open-air, overwater yoga pavilion. If in the midst of all this, you still must stay connected to the outside world, all villas are equipped with high-speed broadband Internet access.

Water Villa
These over-water villas offer 149 square meters of living space, each with a wrap-around terrace and hammocks suspended over the ocean. An oversized tub gazes out over the water, with twin vanities and deep cupboards provided for guests comfort. Each villa includes an LCD TV with satellite channels, entertainment system with iPod dock, a private bar, Nespresso machine, drinking water and fruit platter. A Villa Host is available 24/7.
Beach Villa
The Beach Villas offer 135 square meters of living space, plus a generous outdoor area positioned on the absolute beachfront. These villas provide direct access to the lagoon and include hammock, daybed, sun loungers and wide verandah. There is an indoor and outdoor shower and tub, plus LCD TV with satellite channels, entertainment system and iPod dock. A well-stocked bar with drinking water is provided as well as Nespresso machine and fruit platter. A Villa Host is available 24/7.
Beach Villa with Pool
These villas have been created to offer exclusive privacy and are situated right on the beachfront. A spacious outdoor veranda compliments the villas and includes a dining area and daybed, shaded by lush tropical plants. This accommodation offers a sizeable 79 square meters of interior space and boasts its own private pool, taking luxury to a whole new level and allowing guests to relax while every whim is taken care of.
Duplex Beach Villa with Pool
The tropical island greenery that surrounds the duplex beach villas offers a beautiful backdrop as well as providing an exclusive private oasis for guests. The large 135-square-meter rooms also boast a spacious outdoor area with veranda, outdoor shower and shared swimming pool. These rooms are aesthetically-appointed with inviting views across the ocean.
Grand Water Villa with Pool
These are some of Reethi Rah’s most outstanding villas. 157 square meters of interior space are lined with a generous covered decking area, perfect for sunbathing or stargazing. Built on stilts, overlooking the azure waters of this tropical paradise, sun bed platforms, large infinity pool and a luxurious open-air Jacuzzi complement this enchanting outdoor space. These unique villas have a separate dining area for a more intimate setting as well as opulent bathrooms with walk-in shower and steam rooms.
Three Bedroom Grand Sunset with Pool
This is Reethi Rah’s largest and most prestigious villa, featuring a spectacularly large interior living space. The villa boasts the largest stretch of private beach on the resort with over 2000 square meters reserved solely for guests.This uncompromising and exceptional choice of villa offers a serene getaway with a large private pool which is screened by vivid green foliage. A private road leads to this unique residence and is closed off by electronic gates, adding to the allure of these villas.
Two Bedroom Grand Beach Villa with Pool
These villas are incredibly spacious, with 273 square meters of interior living space, and are nestled amongst lush and tropical foliage. A spacious shimmering pool lies directly outside of the villa and a designated seating area faces the vivid blue ocean, where a private stretch of beach lies exclusively for guests to relax and enjoy the tropical ambiance. The outdoor area that accompanies the villa is equipped with a shaded veranda, canopied daybed and a seating area designated for alfresco dining.
Diving and snorkeling
To explore the local coral reefs and see a multitude of tropical fish species in their native habitat, guests can use the resorts snorkeling equipment or join an organized dive. Reethi Rah is home to the only National Geographic Dive Center in the Maldives, providing guests with an unparalleled opportunity to experience reefs, wrecks and the protected waters of nearby Rasfari Marine Area. Programs are also offered for kids and guests staying longer than a week can get their open water certificate.
Gymnasium
A fully equipped gym provides Technogym equipment plus a range of free weights, fit balls, elliptical trainers, bicycle and more. A personal trainer is on hand to provide assistance or to create a personalized workout program.
Kids Only
Children are welcome at One&Only Reethi Rah and the OnlyKidsClub provides a safe environment for them to interact and have fun while parents are relaxing. There are separate activities for younger children and teens, with a dedicated dining area, clubhouse and swimming pool, with programs that include treasure hunts, sports and local excursions.
One&Only Spa
Guests can book in for a massage or seek the advice of one of the spa's trained Lifestyle Consultants in a specially designed program designed to reinvigorate and revitalize. There's also a hair salon, Barber & Blade by One&Only.
Power Sports
The Water Sports Center provides all the necessary equipment for a range of power water sports, including parasailing, wakeboarding and waterskiing. Speedboats are available for hire and training is available upon request.
Swimming
One&Only Reethi Rah features three pools, including a large freeform infinity edge swimming pool. There's a lap pool for adults and a pool just for kids, complete with slide and life guards.
Tennis
The Reethi Rah has two floodlit tennis courts available with balls and rackets provided. Open from 8am-12pm and 4-8pm.
Zen Fitness Programs
A number of programs are available for those looking to improve or simply maintain their fitness while on vacation. Guests can select from Tai Chi, Ashtanga or Hatha yoga, Meditation, and Thai Boxing with the guidance of a trained professional. The Chi pavilion over the ocean provides a stunning setting for yoga or Tai Chi sessions.
Chef's Garden
This sophisticated al fresco venue serves up fresh organic ingredients from the Chef's Garden. It's open for dinner every day except Wednesday and provides guests with an ambient and intimate dining experience.
Fanditha
This chilled out venue on a secluded part of beach offers Mediterranean cuisine in a casually exotic setting. A DJ plays house music while tiki torches light low tables and laidback bolster seating. Shisha are served on certain nights and every day sunset drinks are served.
Rah Bar
The airy open pavilion of Rah Bar provides casual poolside meals and drinks, in the evenings transforming into a vibrant cocktail bar. A variety of fruit and vegetable juices and available, plus a wide assortment of cocktails, plus a selection of regional rums.
Reethi Restaurant
This waterfront fusion restaurant serves up an eclectic mix of Mediterranean and Asia-Pacific dishes. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, this sophisticated dining venue has an open kitchen, walk-in wine cellar and a private dining room on request.
Tapasake
Overwater pavilions house Tapasake - a contemporary Japanese restaurant with an emphasis on fresh seafood. Locally caught fish is served Indian-tapas-style along with premium wines and sakes.
