Janu to Bring its Signature Energy to Ras Al Khaimah

Aman Group announces Janu Al Marjan Island Retreat, brand’s second property in the UAE.

Janu, Aman Group’s younger, more extroverted sibling, is continuing its steady rise with a brand-new resort and residences on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah—one of the UAE’s most photogenic and fast-growing coastal escapes.

Following the success of Janu Tokyo, which opened in 2024 to significant fanfare, the brand is heading to the shores of the Arabian Gulf with Janu Al Marjan Island.

Set across a collection of pristine islands that arc out into turquoise water, the new property aims to be a modern hub for community, wellness, and design-driven living. Ras Al Khaimah, long admired for its quieter, more natural landscapes, has recently emerged as the next big destination in the UAE. For Janu, known for championing “collective joy” and social connection, the setting is the perfect match.

Al Marjan Island

Designed by Singapore’s SCDA Architects, Janu Al Marjan Island seamlessly blends contemporary Mediterranean and Middle Eastern lines with the relaxed atmosphere of a waterfront escape. At its core will be a 132-key hotel overlooking the sea, anchored by signature Janu amenities. Guests can expect a wellness centre equipped with a yoga studio, gym, banya, and hammam; a Mixology Bar; two restaurants; a nightlife venue; and a Kids’ Club for families. A private stretch of beach, a pool, and a lively Beach Club will round out the sun-seeking appeal.

The development also includes a residential tower with one- to five-bedroom Janu Residences, plus a handful of standalone villas for those who want to make the lifestyle permanent. Owners will have full access to the resort’s facilities, folding them naturally into the property’s community-minded rhythm. With the Wynn Al Marjan Island and Marina nearby—not to mention mooring access directly at the resort—Janu is positioning itself as one of the destination’s most connected addresses.

“Ras Al Khaimah is rapidly emerging as one of the Middle East’s most captivating destinations, making it a natural home for our next Janu property,” said Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman Group. He added that the retreat will offer a vibrant setting for travellers to connect while immersed in the emirate’s striking natural landscapes.

Janu Al Marjan Island joins a growing global pipeline that includes forthcoming properties in Dubai, Turks and Caicos, and Saudi Arabia.
