Star chef Boulud to make Asia debut in Hong Kong with Terrace Boulud

Partnership between French legend, Mandarin Oriental and LANDMARK to blend Parisian flair with skyline views.

Renowned chef Daniel Boulud rooftop French dining destination debuting in January 2026, blending Parisian flair with Hong Kong’s skyline views.

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong and LANDMARK have announced a new dining partnership with celebrated French chef Daniel Boulud. The venture, Terrace Boulud, is set to open in January 2026 on the 25th floor of LANDMARK PRINCE’S in Central, marking Boulud’s first restaurant in Asia.

The rooftop venue will bring Chef Boulud’s signature French cuisine — reimagined with Asian influences — to a spectacular setting overlooking Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong skyline. Designed by Malherbe Paris, the interiors will fuse the charm of traditional French brasseries with the glamour of luxury train travel, reflecting Boulud’s refined global culinary vision.

Terrace Boulud will offer lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner in a setting that evokes Parisian elegance while embracing Hong Kong’s cosmopolitan energy. Guests can also enjoy cocktails and curated wines on the expansive terrace well into the evening.

The launch coincides with the ongoing US$1 billion redevelopment of LANDMARK under Hongkong Land’s “Tomorrow’s CENTRAL” initiative. As part of this transformation, LANDMARK PRINCE’S will become home to over 100 food and beverage concepts, including nine outdoor terraces.

This will also mark the first time that Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong — a culinary mainstay since 1963 — opens a dining venue outside the walls of its iconic flagship. The hotel already operates 16 restaurants across Central and LANDMARK, collectively holding nine MICHELIN stars. In 2024, more than 3,000 members of LANDMARK’s BESPOKE loyalty programme dined at Mandarin Oriental venues, cementing its appeal among Hong Kong’s most discerning diners.

Terrace Boulud’s menu will rotate seasonally around four of Boulud’s core culinary inspirations: La Tradition (French classics), La Saison (market specialities), Le Potager (vegetable-led dishes), and Le Voyage (global flavours). The restaurant is set to become a new highlight in Hong Kong’s evolving fine-dining landscape.
