See ItineraryJune to August is very hot in Oman with temperatures pushing 40 °C (104 °F) in the warmest regions, with the humidity high. Many choose this time to head into the mountains for the cooler air. In Salalah in the south, it is the khareef (monsoon) season where there is up to 25mm of rain, and many head here for the cooler temperatures of between 24 and 28 °C (75-82 °F). The khareef's wet winds also create a thick fog, which coats the mountains in moisture, creating luxuriant green hills. Summer is the first fruit season across the country and best time to try the country’s sweet apricots, peaches, figs, and pears. Outside of Salalah, going out in the middle of the day is best avoided at this time.

Here is a small selection of the kind words our clients have said about us recently.
We had a wonderful time on our trip to Sri Lanka....we definitely had numerous experiences that would not have occurred had we just used one of the bigger travel agencies.
Also unforgettable was our experience driving through Beijing in an old fashioned motorcycle side car followed by lunch with a local family in their traditional hutong house.
All the logistics and ground transportation were executed flawlessly.
You are invited to Remote Lands’ signature Aman Jet Expeditions, in partnership with our friends at Aman. These are small group journeys designed for people who usually travel independently.
