South Korea in February

South Korea has four very distinct seasons, with winter cold and snow falling between December and March when cold air moves south from Siberia and Manchuria. Average temperatures drop to 0°C (32°F) across the country, with the coastal areas and charming holiday isle of Jeju-do a little warmer. In the capital, Seoul, it can fall to cold as cold as minus 8°C (18 °F) in the depths of winter, so wrapping up warm is a must. It is a great time to try out the country’s world-class skiing and snowboarding resorts, which have among the very best such facilities worldwide.
