WHY WE LOVE THIS HOTEL

·      Location: Perched at an impressive 5,000 feet above sea level, it is a feat to reach this resort, though such remoteness guarantees an intimate experience and breathtaking views.

·      Zen: From a spa to morning classes to a meditation maze, this resort provides no shortage of opportunities to find physical and mental relaxation.

·      Activities: Never mind the natural beauty and fresh meals, with meditation sessions, arts and craft classes, and a library there are plenty of ways to fill one’s day.

DETAILED DECRIPTION

Located in Dhulikhel, just one hour’s drive from Kathmandu, Dwarikas’ Dhulikhel has 36 select elegant guest rooms and many unique 5-star facilities. The charming resort looks over unparalleled vistas of the extended Langtang range of the Himalayas. From the top of the resort there is a 360-degree view of the mighty Himalaya and the Kavrepalanchowk valley. The rustic-chic décor, hillside setting, sincere Nepali hospitality and fragrant cuisine create a warm Nepali atmosphere in the luxury property. The resort has three distinct restaurants that use fresh ingredients grown in Dwarika’s local farms. Amenities range from an infinity swimming pool, a cozy bar and a hilltop lounge to a library and a meeting room. On-site well-being and recreational activities include yoga, meditation, pottery and mandala making and Himalayan rock salt therapy. Alternatively, the resort even offers lessons on Hindu astronomy and the energy of the navagraha (planets) as well as Buddhist philosophy and Nepalese culture and geography.
