Cambodia’s hot and humid weather, like so much of Southeast Asia, is dominated by its monsoons, which makes the drier autumn months the best time to visit. The rains begins to drop off heavily in November and by February are down to an average of 25 mm per month which is about as dry as the country gets. Temperatures, while still hot, are a few degrees cooler than other months with highs often falling below 30 °C, and humidity around 70 percent. With less heat and less rain, it is an ideal time to visit the ruined temples of Angkor Wat just outside the northern city of Siem Reap. Widely accepted as one of the most impressive collections of religious monuments anywhere in the world found, they are perhaps best witnessed in the hazy light of dawn or dusk, where sunrise or sunset casts a thousand shades of red across the ancient temples.

Catherine and her team...were able to put together a trip with exactly the kind of experiences we were dreaming of.
This was our second trip with Remote Lands... On Java, our guide was excellent and we loved being the only people at Borobudur after the monument closed to the public.
