Chitwan National Park
Located in a landscape dense with rivers, trees, and animals, Chitwan National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Unlike much of Nepal, Chitwan is located in the tropical lowlands known as the Terai, home to endangered populations of the Asian one-horned rhinoceros, the Bengal Tiger, and more than 400 species of birds - a must for any and all nature lovers.

Ride atop an elephant through the high grassland and riverbeds to see a wide range of wildlife, including the star of the event: the amazing one-horned rhino. Located in Bachhauli, the Tharu Cultural Museum and Research Center features various exhibitions of artifacts and local customs of the Tharu people. For centuries, the Tharu have lived in harmony with their environment, living near sources of water and developing an extensive knowledge of medicinal herbs.

Elephant Breeding Center

Tiger Tops Tented Camp
There are few more exciting ways to experience nature than from under canvas, and the Tiger Tops Tented Camp permits visitors to Nepal to do just that.
Located in the heart of Chitwan National Park, and surrounded by lush grassland and green hills, the camp consists of 12 luxury safari tents. All the tents have connected bathrooms, and are lit by traditional oil lamps.
The camp itself is powered by solar energy and was built to strict environmental principles to be as low-impact as possible.
The camp is built around a central area containing a well-stocked bar, while the kitchen cooks wholesome, traditional Nepalese food.
Tiger Tops Tharu Lodge
