DETAILED DECRIPTION

Known for its unique culture and untouched nature, Nepal is a country like no other. While its larger cities provide endless historical intrigue for the wandering eye, the charming villages which are scattered abundantly throughout the omnipresent mountains are indeed the most magical elements of this majestic landscape. Begin your journey in colorful Kathmandu, but quickly head straight into the stunningly snowcapped Himalayas for an exploration that is sure to be the experience of a lifetime.

DAY-TO-DAY

DAY 1: Kathmandu

Arrive in the stunningly mountainous city of Kathmandu. Enjoy light refreshments as you prepare your documentation for the challenging adventure that awaits you. After, explore the ancient Kathmandu Durbar Square, taking in the impressive architecture once reserved only for those of royal status. Following an inspiring walk through Boudhanath Temple, head to your hotel - we recommend the charming Dwarika’s Hotel - for a relaxing evening.

DAY 2: Monjo

After an early breakfast, enjoy a brief flight to beautiful Lukla to begin your mountain adventure. Enter the Khumbu “gateway” and embark on a winding and remote path through towering peaks and tiny villages. After several hours of exploration, end your day in the Yeti Mountain Home in the village of Monjo, indulging your senses with spectacular views while dining on local cuisine.

DAY 3: Namche

Enjoy a lovely breakfast and then continue your journey into Sagamartha National Park. Here, embark on a challenging trek up an undulating trail to Namche Bazaar. Catch your breath along the way by stopping amongst quaint and colorful village shops as you progress along this ancient trail. At the end of today’s quest, enjoy a peaceful evening of refreshment and spa luxury in the Namche Yeti Mountain Home.

DAY 4: Namche

After a relaxing morning, enjoy guided exploration of this mountainous town. Learn about Namche’s ancient history, and feast your eyes on the chilling trails in the area, which lead all the way to the top of Mt. Everest. Treat yourself to local shopping and a guided walk through a local monastery. Then, return to your Yeti Mountain Home for a night of rest.

DAY 5: Kathmandu

Rise early and take a private helicopter ride to Everest Base Camp. Surrounded by the snow-capped Himalayas, this is truly a unique and awe-inspiring experience. Then, return to the Yeti Mountain Home for a delightful champagne breakfast before flying back to Kathmandu. Upon landing, explore the magnificent shopping and architecture of Patan Durbar Square before tucking in for the night in your beautiful Kathmandu hotel.

DAY 6: Departure

Rise early and take in the gorgeous nature that surrounds you one last time before heading to the airport. It is time to return home… or to begin your next adventure!
