Ideal Yacht Destinations

Landlocked countries being few and far between in Asia, almost any destination has convenient access to the coastline, and the tropical waters of Southeast Asia are particularly excellent for private yacht charters. A multi-night charter in Indonesia, for example, opens up the waters of Komodo National Park and farther flung locales like Raja Ampat, while a charter off the coast of Myanmar allows one to cruise among the still undiscovered and enchanting isles of the Mergui Archipelago. In Thailand, we highly recommend escaping Phuket with day-trips through Phang Nga Bay, with its striking karst formations and turquoise waters, or overnight trips to the Similan Islands for world-class diving.

For larger yachts and multi-night voyages, charter season varies according to destination:

Myanmar & Thailand (Andaman Sea) November to April
Indonesia & Malaysia (including Komodo and Borneo) May to October
Indonesia (Raja Ampat) October to March
Maldives December to April
Philippines March to June

Hong Kong

We charter traditional Chinese junks as well as modern white yachts for day cruises around the outlying islands and to visit old fishing villages where people live much as they have for decades, untouched by change. We also offer speedy hydrofoil charters to Macau for day trips and one way charters.

We operate 3 night cruises for spectacular diving and seeing the notorious Komodo Dragons in Komodo National Park on private luxury teak schooners. If you can spare 5-7 nights you can cruise from Komodo to Amanwana on Moyo island, or even go all the way back to Bali.  If you have 1-2 weeks to spare, we recommend Raja Ampat, the ultimate remote diving spot, with some of the most picturesque scenery above water and below.

The Maldives is an island nation of 26 atolls, located southwest of Sri Lanka and India. Many of our clients stay at luxury resorts such as Cocoa Island or One & Only, and then they take day trips by yacht for diving, snorkeling, and gourmet picnics on secluded beaches. Additionally, they do extended cruises of 2-7 nights around the Maldives to explore the many deserted islands.

The Mergui archipelago is comprised of over 800 pristine islands in the Andaman Sea off the coast of Myanmar, and are virtually uninhabited except for ethnic minority nomads called “sea gypsies”.  Our clients charter boats out of Kawthaung in the southern tip of Myanmar near Thailand for 3-7 nights, for spectacular diving and snorkelling in the legendary Burma Banks and the many islands of Mergui.

Our clients charter modern yachts out of Phuket and Krabi for day trips to see the dramatic scenery of Phang Nga Bay and to go diving in Phi Phi Island. Koh Samui and Koh Kood also offer excellent boating for day trips. For world-class diving experiences, our clients also take multi-night diving trips out of Phuket to the Similan Islands and even go as far up as the Mergui Archipelago in Myanmar.
