Tibet in November

November to March is dry, sunny, and very cold in Tibet, among the very highest mountains on the planet, with temperatures between minus 5 and 10 °C (23-50 ºF) in Lhasa. Higher elevations can get significantly colder. It is warmer during the day in south and central Tibet, and it snows but seldom rains during this period. Roads to natural scenic spots are often blocked by the heavy snows, and lakes will freeze-over completely.  Large parts of Tibet are inaccessible at this time and people generally do not travel here in the absolute depths of winter.
