As one of the most beautiful places in Kyrgyzstan, Chon-Kemin Valley is the perfect place to enjoy a rewarding and challenging winter ski adventure. Standing 6,562 feet to 11,483 feet above sea level, the area is abundant with stunning slopes and conifer forests, all of which are overwhelmingly gorgeous when covered in a tranquil blanket of snow. The ski season is best from December to March.

This itinerary is an example. It’s designed to inspire you and provide you with thoughtfully curated ideas. You can choose to do this exact itinerary or completely personalize it. All trips are 100% bespoke.

Highlights

  • Great Outdoors: Although Kyrgyzstan has been nicknamed "the Switzerland of Asia" for its lush spring and summer landscapes, in the winter these are transformed by a thick coating of glistening snow.
  • Snow Sports: Chon-Kemin Valley is the country's best ski destination, offering backcountry slopes that wind through pretty conifer forests.
  • Bishkek: Begin and end your Kyrgyzstan trip in the capital, sightseeing and dining on hearty Kyrgyz dishes - the perfect cuisine for chilly winter nights.
