Next, head to the beautiful Taman Negara National Park and walk high above the ground on canopy bridges. Continue to the Belum-Temengor rainforest and spend your days kayaking, fishing and hiking through the scenic landscape. Finish your adventure in Penang and uncover the rich history of Georgetown, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 1

Start your journey off by flying into the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur. Once landed, head to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. In the afternoon, consider taking a stroll through the lively city and trying out delicious local cuisine such as Malaysian curry, roti canai, laksa, satay skewers and more.

MapFraser's Hill
Depart from Kuala Lumpur in the morning and travel 2.5 hours to Fraser’s Hill, a colonial-era hill station nestled in the Cameron Highlands. Arrive at the station and check in to a quaint hotel in the area. In the afternoon, hike through many scenic nature trails and enjoy bird watching.

Day 3

Today, you’ll have the opportunity to explore Fraser’s Hill on your own. Consider playing a round of golf at one of the oldest courses in the country with a visit to the prestigious Royal Fraser’s Hill Golf Club. In the afternoon, trek along more hiking trails and admire the spectacular landscape.
Day 4
MapTaman Negara
In the morning, say goodbye to Fraser’s Hill and take a scenic 3-hour drive to Kuala Tembeling. Transfer to a boat and sail to Taman Negara National Park. Here, you’ll get settled in at your hotel. In the afternoon, venture into the park and trek through an ancient tropical rainforest. Finish the day with a guided jungle walk.

Prepare for a day full of adventure in Taman Negara National Park. After breakfast, take an exhilarating jungle cruise along the Tahan River. Continue to the Lata Berkoh rapids and anchor at the edge of untamed jungles. Here, you’ll hike deep into the wilderness and experience an unforgettable canopy walk, high above in the trees.

MapCameron Highlands
Leave Taman Negara National Park and head to the stunning Cameron Highlands (a 4-hour drive) first thing in the morning. Here, you’ll take a stroll through vibrant green tea plantations and stop for a delicious picnic lunch at the Boh Tea Centre. After, relax at your hotel and rest up for the exciting day ahead.

Day 7
MapBelum-Temengor Rainforest
Begin the day by departing the Cameron Highlands and drive for 4 hours to the Belum-Temengor rainforest, the largest forest complex in the country. Here, you’ll have a guided tour through the gorgeous tropical jungle. To experience more natural beauty, an optional trip to Perak can be taken. In Perak, you can discover sandy beaches, forest reserves, and traditional fishing villages. In the evening, we recommend staying at the elegant Belum Rainforest Resort.

Wake up in paradise and experience the best of the Belum-Temengor rainforest today. After breakfast, kayak around the island and be captivated by the tranquil landscape. In the afternoon, enjoy fishing off the coast and hiking through the rainforest. Continue trekking until you reach a breathtaking waterfall deep in the jungle.

Day 9

In the morning, drive for 2.5 hours to Penang, a historic island where Malay, Chinese, Indian and European cultures mesh. In the afternoon, take a private guided tour of Georgetown, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you’ll walk through picturesque pre-Second World War houses, colonial buildings and century-old churches and temples. After, check into your hotel and relax for the evening.
