Day 1

Kathmandu

Begin your journey in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Upon arrival, you will be met off the plane and escorted through the airport with VIP arrival service. A private vehicle will transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, the remainder of the day is at leisure.

In the early evening, enjoy a walk around Boudhanath Stupa where monks, pilgrims, and prayer flags create a serene and atmospheric introduction to Nepal. The evening ends with a welcome dinner where you will meet your fellow guests and trekking leader, Jamling Tenzing Norgay, for a multi-course Nepalese dinner at one of the city’s famous restaurants.

Day 2

Dhampus

After checking out, transfer to the airport for your morning quick flight to Pokhara. On arrival, meet your trekking guides and porters before driving to the trailhead at Ghattekhola. Begin a gentle ascent through terraced hillsides to Mountain Lodge of Nepal - Dhampus (1,740m), arriving in time for lunch with views of the Annapurna Range.

In the afternoon, enjoy an optional 2-2.5 hour walk through the traditional village of Dhampus or continue on to Australian Camp and Pothana for further scenic viewpoints.

Conclude the day with a cultural program hosted by Aama Samuha, a local women’s organization focused on gender equality and social issues.

Tomijong

Continue trekking 4-5 hours through rural landscapes with consistent views of the Annapurna peaks.

Arrive at Mountain Lodges of Nepal - Tomijong (1,432m) for lunch. From the lodge, panoramic views include Annapurna, Hiunchuli, and the iconic Fishtail (Machapuchare).

The afternoon is at leisure, with the option of a short guided village walk to the nearby villages or time to relax at the lodge.

Jomsom

Begin the morning with tea or coffee and time for photographing the impressive mountain scenery around the lodge. After breakfast, follow an easy trail to Lumle, where your vehicle awaits. Continue by road toward Jomsom, a 5–6-hour drive, stopping in Marpha for lunch.

Enjoy a traditional Thakali meal prepared by Mrs. Kamala, a well-known local chef and community leader. After lunch, explore Marpha’s apple orchards, lanes, and monasteries before continuing to Shinta Mani Mustang (2,800m), where a comfortable evening rest awaits.

Day 6

Jomsom

Set out on a guided trek in the Jomsom Valley, with the route selected based on conditions and your preferences. The walk includes varied terrain, stream crossings, and scenic viewpoints across the Himalaya.

Midway, enjoy a lakeside mountaineer-style picnic with high-energy fare and a glass of chilled rosé. The afternoon continues with further exploration before returning to the lodge. Trek length and difficulty can be adjusted to suit individual comfort levels.

Day 7

Jomsom

After breakfast, drive to Jharkot, known for its historic gompa. Explore the village before beginning a scenic hike through orchards and across suspension bridges to Jhong. Visit a traditional home and enjoy lunch prepared by the Shinta Mani culinary team at the monastery, with 360-degree valley views.

In the afternoon, choose between a mountain bike descent or a jeep transfer toward Kagbeni, the gateway to Upper Mustang. Visit Kag Chode Thupten Samphel Ling Monastery, an important Buddhist site.

The day also includes a visit to Muktinath, one of Nepal’s most sacred pilgrimage sites for both Hindus and Buddhists, famed for its 108 holy fountains, where ritual bathing is believed to bring purification and liberation.

Day 8

Mustang

Begin the day with a drive from Jomsom to Syangboche, then hike to the sacred Chungsi Cave. Continue by road to Ghar Gompa one of the region’s oldest monasteries, before proceeding to Lo Manthang, the former walled capital of Upper Mustang.

Upon arrival enjoy an evening walk along the ancient city walls, heading back to the Royal Mustang Hotel in Ghami (3,840m) for a comfortable night’s rest.

Kathmandu

Private transfer to the airport for your flight to Kathmandu via Pokhara. Alternatively, a direct helicopter transfer can be arranged for a faster, more scenic journey back to the capital at an additional charge.

Upon arrival, gather in Boudha for a special pooja and prayer ceremony, including an audience with a high lama, offering a meaningful spiritual conclusion to your journey. Have lunch at a local restaurant before heading back to your hotel.
