Moyo Island
Measuring 135 square miles, or 350 square kilometers, Moyo Island, or Pulau Moyo in Indonesian, is a nature preserve and marine park. Other than an international resort, the Amanwana, Moyo Island is uninhabited, and an excellent place to simultaneously escape the hustle and bustle of civilization, and experience unspoiled, virgin flora and fauna.

Diving & Snorkeling
Go diving and snorkeling on Moyo Island, Medang Island and Satonda Island (the latter of which features soft coral and shrimps). Both experienced and novice divers will appreciate the dive sites in this area, which include Tanjung Menangis Wall to see dolphins, shark, tuna, Manta rays and batfish. The well-egarded and interesting Panjang Timur Reef features a Japanese wreck at about 75 feet, or 25 meters, under the sea.
Hike to Villages and Waterfalls
Hike to one of several villages on the island, Sitma, Sibetok, Patedong, Brang Rea, or to two beautiful waterfalls, Mata Jitu and Diwu Mba'i. Meet the natives and learn about their culture.
Nature Preserve
The nature preserve covers over 54,363 acres (22,000 hectares) and features wild cattle, deer, various species of birds and macaques. Hike, trek and photograph to your heart’s content.

Amanwana
Located on a nature reserve east of Bali on Moyo Island, Amanwana is a luxury tented resort with just 20 tents that face either the jungle or the ocean. Each 620-square-foot tent is enclosed by a solid wall and surrounded by a coral-stone deck. Inside, the air-conditioned tents feature banks of windows, Indonesian island artwork, a sitting area with facing divans, king-size bed, a writing desk and a large bathroom.
