Bentota

Touch down at Bandaranaike International Airport to be greeted by your guide and driver who will whisk you off to Bentota beach where you’ll check in to your comfortable hotel. Here, enjoy a delicious dinner before bedding down for a good night’s sleep.

Yala

After breakfast, begin your adventure with a drive to the vast and sprawling Yala National Park. This beautiful nature reserve is home to rare wildlife, including indigenous birds and leopards. Spend the day on a safari drive discovering exotic flora and fauna, then check in to your hotel in the national park for a night within nature.

Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast in Yala, embark upon your journey into the highlands. Your destination today is the picturesque town of Nuwara Eliya, nicknamed ‘little England’ for its colonial influences. Allow yourself to be enchanted by the pretty country cottages and relax for the night up in the cool climate of the rolling tea plantations.

This historic dwelling was once the ancestral home of a Kandyan family and was restored to its former splendor in 2005 by Channa Daswatte, Geoffrey Bawa’s protege. The two-story main house is surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens, which have avocado, jackwood, papaya, Sri Lankan orange and Kithul trees - the perfect setting for afternoon tea complete with Kandy House’s desserts made with treacle from Kithul blossoms.

From Kandy, continue your romantic adventure with a trip to Sigiriya, the ancient fortress of Sri Lanka’s 5th century kings.Take in the wondrous carvings, statues and paintings, and marvel at all the history around you before heading to Habarana in the afternoon. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity awaits here, with a ride at a stately pace on the back of an elephant. Spend the night at Habarana after your exciting day.
